We inspect the duct layout, identify supply and return runs, count grilles and diffusers, and agree where access panels are needed. For apartments we confirm building rules and permits in advance.
A camera is inserted into the main runs and branch ducts, and the current condition is recorded. You see exactly what is inside your ductwork before we quote for cleaning it.
Furniture and floors are sheeted, the work area is contained, and the system is isolated so nothing that is disturbed inside the ducts can escape into the living space.
Rotary brushes and compressed-air whips are run through the ductwork to release the compacted layer from the internal surfaces, working branch by branch back towards the collection point.
A HEPA-filtered vacuum unit holds the duct system under negative pressure throughout, so every particle released by the brushes is drawn into the collection unit and removed from the property.
Grilles, diffusers and return filters are removed, washed, dried and refitted. The cleaned ductwork is then fogged with an approved antimicrobial treatment that is safe for occupied homes.
The borescope goes back in and the same runs are filmed again. You receive before-and-after footage, a written report and a recommended interval for the next clean.
